What Is My Design Personality?

Understanding your design personality and how it aligns with a particular season gives you a framework to choose colours, textures and styles that support the way you live. It’s not about following trends. It’s about uncovering what feels intuitive, nurturing and right for you.

What it Means to be an Autumn
Autumn design personalities are drawn to earthy colours, soft finishes and layered natural textures. There’s a calm and restfulness in Autumn interiors. Nothing shouts, yet everything feels intentional.
For me, Autumn is about creating spaces that feel grounded and restorative. I love olive greens, terracotta tones, oak timbers, flowing linen, velvet, aged or brushed metals and chunky wool. I love mid-century furniture that feels substantial but never showy, pieces that offer quality, comfort, beauty and purpose.
Autumn personalities crave warmth and meaning in their surroundings. We’re not minimalists. We are thoughtful and nostalgic. We want our homes to feel lived in… and be places to create memories, for life.

When I set out to curate the Phoenix collection for Curated for KIN, I knew it had to reflect all the qualities I love as an Autumn.
Phoenix is the collection I’d choose for my own home. It’s a complete furniture package, in modular sets for the specific rooms of your home, filled with warm woods, tactile fabrics and tones inspired by nature. Think eucalyptus green, soft curves, brushed oak, brass accents and layered textures.
