The KIN Crew Just Got a Whole Lot Cuter

We’re thrilled to introduce the newest member of the KIN Crew… Aksel! He’s a 14-week-old Vizsla with a personality as big as his paws (and trust us, they’re enormous!). While he’s not officially on the payroll yet, he’s certainly making his presence felt around the studio…mostly by causing humorous chaos and stealing the hearts of everyone he meets.

Aksel joins us in honour of his namesake, the legendary Norwegian alpine skier Aksel Lund Svindal, who somehow managed to be brilliant between the gates, an all-round excellent human, plus a lover of good taste and design. We can’t promise young Aksel will match his namesake’s skiing skills anytime soon, but he is already training hard in the art of team morale, snuggles and, well, chewable office supplies.

Guided by his older brother Hudson, the Curated for KIN Senior Manager - Dogs Body & Emotional Support Leader, Aksel is learning the ropes of office life. Huddo has taken his mentoring duties very seriously, mainly by supervising snack breaks, snooze rotations and ensuring Aksel doesn’t chew anything too expensive. Keeping Ella on task and not distracted by Aksel’s “wiggle-bum” will require further dedication, though.

Aksel’s goal? One day, to take over the mantle and officially claim the title of Chief Chaos & Cuddles Officer.

At 14 weeks, Aksel is a handful, but a loveable one. He’s a reminder that every team needs a little playfulness, a lot of love and maybe a few extra treats hidden in strategic spots. We’re excited to watch him grow (and learn to sit without his bum sliding out on the polished floorboards).
